Truly Amazing!!! This was by far the best golf course I have ever played on. the driving range is natural grass and the balls are included with your green fees. I played the wolf course and it was rated with 5 stars on several websites. I was not disappointed. The greens are so fast compared to the ones back in Hawaii. The views of the mountains are so awesome. The wind was blowing strong for the first few holes, but it calmed down later in the round. The signature hole, #15 a par 3 island green, was a true test on your shotmaking and putting abilities. If I lived in Vegas, I would play this course often. Takes about 30 minutes or less to get there from the strip. Well worth the drive. No complaints what so ever. Playing here was the highlight of my vacation!!!

Customer Service

Excellent. Everyone was friendly from the pro shop, to the snack bar, to the starter/marshall, to the cart girls. This is a well runned Golf Course. The golf courses in Hawaii could take a lesson from Paiute on how to treat their guests.

I played this course on 10/17/03. Looking at the dead, desert surroundings, they must use all of lake meade to keep conditions up. Fairways and rough were better than any public course in KY. Extraordinary. However, greens were not up to par for this calibur of course. Paid 85 twilight for sun mountain and shot 89. Just got in 18. Nice rangers and beer girl.

Customer Service

Good, but they only wanted more of your hard earned(or won) money through tips.

The views were spectacular. Oh yeah, when I play a course here in KY, I can think back to each hole I played in my mind. The holes here are so similar, I couldn't do it(even in the parking lot after the round). That's a downer in my opinion. However, it could be the same mountains I was looking at the whole time. This course is worth playing once. Certainly more if you can get a better rate. 85 twilight in october may sound great for some of you, but not to me. I can play much better greens and pretty darn good fairways in KY for 30.

This is my favorite course. The conditions are absolutely flawless. Temperature is a few degrees cooler than Vegas due to higher elevation.

Pauite golf is yet another example of how the Las Vegas golf industry *screws* the visiting golfer. How do I explain to my guests that while I'll pay $XX, they'll need to fork over $XX + $50 to $100? If the courses based their fees on race there'd be riots in the streets (and rightly so). On a positive note, green fees appear to be falling as more and more courses open. A few courses in the county have already gone broke. Does it require a PhD to realize that more golfers will visit your courses if fees decline? I wish golfers from all over the US would call Paiute and other courses then laugh into the phone when told the fee.

Played Sun mountain twice on the Monday, and Snow the next morning. Both were in impeccable condition - the tee boxes, fairways, greens, rough and bunkers all perfect. The fairways are lush but have plenty of roll. The greens are on the hard side, and putt fast. The first day was dead calm in the morning, and a little more breezy in the afternoon - two rounds of 80 (the first finishing with two double bogeys) showed the course was not too hard. The second day could not have been more different. Howling winds, freezing cold and tough. Read the other reviews below - when it blows, the courses can be brutal and in the desert there is no hiding from the wind.

Customer Service

Service is great - friendly and helpful. . The staff made every effort to ensure we got another round in.

What can I say? Paiute is one of my top ten places to play - anywhere, and I've played Pebble, TPC Sawgrass, etc. It's in the desert, and it's a GOLF course. I recall standing on a tee box, looking down on the green 185 yards away, and having a hard time concentrating on my shot, because of the beauty of the four other fairways painting the desert floor in front of me. If you've played here you know which hole I'm talking about. The wind blows out here; there are some forced carries that will make you weep but that you can pull off, and many of the holes will test you to the limit. But the rewards for making good shots at Paiute are what golf is all about. Forget 90% of the high-dollar courses in the Vegas area. If you're a GOLFER, play Paiute.

Course was in very good condition. A very enjoyable destination for golf 30 minutes North of Las Vegas.

Course layout was challenging, but not unfair. Greens rolled true, ask the starter for some local knowledge.

A bit pricey ($160 - March), but isn't everything in Vegas. Twilight reate ($85) is a great deal if you can get one of the first twilight tee-times.

Customer Service

Very nice Staff at every position.

Have played these courses once/yr for the past three years or so. No comparison in Vegas. Just desert and magnificent fairways and greens. No condo golf here. No tricks. Just one fine time. Club house is nifty...strange in the desert but nifty. Staff is fantastic. Wind blows and blows. Try a few balls on the range (free) and if they land in your lap, play another day. An experience to savor...like the deserts at the Bellagio buffet.

This is one of my favorite places to play. The two courses are challenging and force you to hit every club in the bag. No matter what level you play at there is a set of tees for you. Play the snow course for an easier time and great desert views.
Course maintenence is excellent. Also, the staff is super friendly.
