This is a spectacular course in Mesquite that features tee shots through and over canyons. The better of the two courses is the Palmer, although the Canyons isn't bad. The only downside is that on many holes there are houses way too close to the fairway. However, it is well worth playing. I played this course in the summer, and got a great twilight rate ($30), but the greens were in horrible shape. All the other courses I played in Mesquite had perfect greens, so they could improve in this area.

Great course! Wild layout in the foothills adjacent to Mequite. Plays over, around, and through the desert canyons and ravines/arroyos. Better than 90% of the Vegas courses and cheaper to boot. Spectacular elevation changes. Strategic mental golf. Well worth the money.

The views are fantastic and make for a memorable round. The condition of the course is very good. We played in the heat on a weekday (cheap green fees if you can stand the sun beating on you, bring a jug of water!!!), so we were nearly by ourselves out there. The staff is friendly too.

The wind begins to howl on summer afternoons in this area. Play in the morning if you can.

This is a great course! There are several incredibly elevated tee boxes where you are driving to area at least 100 ft below. I have played several courses in the area and this is one of my favorites. You must keep the ball straight to avoid the natural desert areas, but this is not target golf and it is fair for everyone except the absolute hack.
