Cochecho Country Club is the longest 6,000-yard golf course around. The subsoil is clay, so there is little run on the ball. The greens are traditional, small New England greens with a fair amount of undulation. The front-nine is fairly wide open, and the back-nine wanders through woodsland. The course has a number of challenging holes as well as a few quirky ones.
