A mix of woodland and pasture (can't call them links style) holes. well maintained and not overly punishing although missing the fairway can get you in trouble in deep rough. A little tweaking of the pasture holes could turn them into a nice links style layout.
Nice distant views of the lake.

Great course, If you hit it long and get a pretty decent score on the front nine, you can get a great score. You can blast it on the back nine and not get into trouble, because most holes are wide open. It can be a shock the first time you play the course on hole 2. You've got to hit about 150 over water most of the way! It's fun though, just use your practice balls..... Grass driving range and very nice putting green! Usually one of the first to open in the spring in the Lakes Region.
