Play 18 Holes for UNDER 20 Bucks! Well Worth It. Course is not in "club" condition but is very playable. Greens in good shape, fairway, hard dry with some bare spots...no rain in 2 weeks. For the prive can't beat it. Some realy nice holes. A good NWNJ 9 hole course for someone who does not expect a lot but is fun to play at a GREAT Price...go for it

Let's put it this way, I am an avid golfer, live 2 minutes away from this course and have gone there once in the past two years. It is in terrible condition, covered in leaves in the fall and geese year round. It's just not worth it.

Not well drained. Greens are weedy and bare in spots. Fairways were in need of a mowing and forget the rough! The reviewer who stated this is one of the finest courses in Jersey is either the owner, hasn't played much or was eating some of the many mushrooms found on the course.
If you want to play 9 holes for a few bucks: fine. But Hidden Acres is a heck of alot better for about the same price.

Customer Service

The proshop/lounge attendants were fine. No course attendants. This is a shoestring operation, so you get what you pay for which isn't much.

I have to agree with the previous opinions of the course. It's a quaint little course to kill a few hours. And being from South Jersey, it was nice to see the "mountain views" and deer strolling along the course. By no means should you expect a finely maintained course, but it's a good value for the money.

Culvers lake Golf course is one of the nicest course in nj. The staff is very plesant and peaceful. The manger "bob" is a happy go lucky guy who can make a mean cheese burger. if you are looking to make money, you can go uo there and play with the best ballers, but beware of the club pro; JO-Jo and Speedy. cluvers is a great place to go and i higly recomend going if u dont want to have golfers up your ass. Its like you have the wjhole course to your self.

This course is a very enjoyable course to golf at. The manager me and my palls like to call him "bob" is a very nice person and he can make a mean cheeseburger. Also the place is not very crowded so you dont have t wait for anybody or have anybody golfing up you ass. Culvers lake is a very good place

It is a small nine hole golf course. It starts out with a great hole, but the rest of the course isn't so wonderful. The ninth hole is nothing less than a joke, and conditions are even worse. It is like putting on a mattress, and the greens are small

Shoot in the 90s

We played there spur of the moment this past weekend (July1,2001) and it was a nice but small course (nine holes that you play twice for 18). Although the course is listed as short, we had some really long holes.

The fairways, tees and greens all were in very good shape and the staff was pleasant. It is a wide open course making it relatively easy. Nice lush tree lined course.
A cart and 18 (9x2) on a weekend were $33.
