Nice 9 hole course which beats Eastlyn, an 18 holer just down the road, by a mile. Challenging, moderately fast greens. Good fairways. Well maintained except for some areas of extreme rough. Good mixture of holes.

Hamilton Trails

Only course I have been to where they warn the patron that THEY are responsible for damage done to cars (first two holes) passing by on the adjacent road. Course runs around the parameter for the first 5 holes then move inside. VERY wide fairways. Greens were fairly hard and slighly fast. Not too difficult to read or putt. Sand hazards are in need of maintanance. Fairways are in need of a cut. Rules state "No water coolers", yet no water is provided by the management. Deceptively long to walk, the card shows short holes, but there is much walking to do. $18 to walk is a bit steep for this type of course.

After the proshop there is none. No portajohns, rangers, cartgirl or groundskeeper.

Wide open like Scotland run, but there the similarities end. Somewhat like Pinelands.

Fairways are kept in excellent shape. Entire nine-hole course is wide open, thus making sliced shots still playable. No water hazards except for one right in front of the first tee. Lots of bunkers though. Par threes are narrow with trees lined up on each side. Green fee is $15 and is good for all-day golf. Much better deal than Hamilton Trails 16 miles away, which charges FOR NINE HOLES - $13 for the first nine and another $8 for each nine thereafter.
