Thank you for e-blast. I was looking for golf course after big snow storm. I know exactly when you guys open and get a discount rate. Course was good shape and clean. Except little wet condition. But it was not bad at all. I had good time with my guest. Thanks again.

I looked for golf course near NYC,and i found Emerson Golf Club. Which was only 20 min from GWB.My buddy and i went Friday morning and it still coast $62 with cart. Which was veey good.Because other simular golf course charge weekend rate but not here. Wide open new golf cart and long course. They said 15 min per hole, which i agree because i dont want stay all day inside of golf course. Most golf course does so.
We had good time.

Customer Service

Good golf price and range. Big jumbo hot dot.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! My husband received a Groupon for his birthday. Because of his work schedule, he was unable to use his Groupon before it expired. I called the manager to see if it would be possible to extend it by 2 weeks until he returned from his work trip. Steve Pyo (the manager) was very rude on the phone. He kept saying "well it''s not my fault he didn''t use it" and "I have hundreds of people calling to do the same thing so if I do it for them then I have to do it for you." He kept saying he was not able to do anything. It seems to me that the manager of an establishment has the choice to work with the curstomer or not. He clearly had no desire to work with his customer. My husband took several golf lessons on this course and was planning on taking more. He also was planning on bringing 6 other guys with him on his golf day. After Steve''s rude and unprofessional attitude, my husband will be doing neither. It seems like bad business practice to be so inflexible with customers. The golf course would have ended up making hundreds of dollars, had they just agreed to extend the groupon by two weeks. I''ve noticed other similar comments about the customer service. If the company is reading this, they should know that EJ and Steve Pyo (both managers) are having a very negative impact on their company.

I played at Emerson golf club a week ago, course conditions are in good shape. (I was worried about reviews)Tee boxes and fairways are in perfect playing condition. That said I have to say the greens are in good condition and improving.(i dont know about last year) Within week or two, greens should be in perfect condition. I don’t have to worry about greens anymore.
Beside the course being in great shape the club house has a brand new bar with new LCD TVs for your pleasure.

This is the worst course i have ever seen. It was a waste of money. Please do not waste your money. Management said the course was in good condition and we went out to play. Greens were half dirt and half grass. Plus the grass on greens was longer than fairway grasss. They offered us 50% of a round next year but didnt want to waste any additional money....?
I wish i could give less than a one star rating.

Customer Service

Management said that it would not be fair to discount the rate because other people have paid. I told them it was the last time they get any money from me and they will be out of business soon.

I would not recommend anyone play this course. My brothers were in for a golf trip to end the season and we went to High Bridge Hills on Saturday Oct2nd. The course was great, great greens and the fairways were not that wet even after 3 days of rain. We decided to book Emerson Golf Club for our Sunday round, and this was by far the worst course I''ve ever played that cost over $35. I''ve played some muni''s that were bad, but the price reflected the conditions. This course is $84 and we received a 10% discount because of ''aeration''. What ''aeration'' means to Emerson is 10 out of 18 greens with that were absolutely unplayable. The greens were bumpy, sandy, and bare in many places due to poor aeration that occurred a month ago. The 18th green looked like someone was tilling it for the winter crop. It is the worst green I have ever played. The guy at the counter was nice enough to tell us the greens were ''bumpy at best'', but at that point, we had no alternative place to play. The starter was a real jerk. My brother put his stand bag on his back and was walking to his cart to place it on the bag. The started immediately notified us that there was ''No walking before 2pm''. He''s walking to his cart to put his bag, calm down dude. This place might be good in the spring, summer, but I''ll never play here again even if it''s free.

The WORST golf course I played at in my short golfing career. Granted it only cost $30.00 for Sr. Winter Golf but given the conditions, the club should FIRST make the course playable before taking any green fees.

Customer Service

Accommodating but again this does not make up for the poorly maintained course.

Nothing this bad. The closest is a county course that is under repair but only charges $12.00 for 18 holes, Even that course overall has more playable holes.

Over priced for what you get. Many years ago the county courses were poorly maintained and i you could not afford to belong to a country club, you played in places like Emerson. The course is flat, not contoured. It's boring. With the county courses having more character and being well maintained, this course is not worth the dollars.
