Played on Aug 29 2012. The course was in very bad condition so bad we had to roll our lies on every shot. The greens unputtable most of the time.
Here is the real kicker. The charged me 69.00 dollars to play when they new the condition of the course. I don't see the course condition changing any time soon. Oh one more thing. I played with two others that payed 37.00 and that got me very angry at the staff because they knew the codition of the course and should have charged me the same. After my round I called the club house and the person I spoke to was not very helpful and did not care about my concerns. My advice to all out there Do not play this course.

Beautiful and challenging layout.

Cannot walk. Must ride (Bet they'd let Tiger walk. Will not go back due to this policy. Cannot really see the scenery they market or the holes when you ride on most cartpaths, making on-course strategy a BIG problem - if you can't see the hole, it's hard to decide where to hit your shots. Not a 4.5 star course as it was rated by Golf Digest.

Played in June. Course was in very good shape overall. Cannot walk, must ride. Greens were somewhat inconsistent. Not worth the long trip from northern NJ.

clubhouse - Pro VI's, course layout

maintenance of course, location is too far south

The day I played Pine Barrens the starter told me that they scheduled 250 golfers for that day. With that many golfers, I believe the course is overplayed. The fairways and tee boxes were chewed up and play was slow due to all the traffic on the course. It had rained prior to my round, but maintenance needs to be improved to keep up with demand.

COURSE IS NEW VERY WELL LAID OUT , AND IS NOT TOO LONG . YOU MUST HIT THE BALL IN THE FAIRWAY, AND ON THE PROPER SIDE OF THE COURSE, VERY CHALLENGING. GREENS ARE NORMAL PUTS DONT FLY OFF THEM GOOD COURSE FOR THE AVERAGE GOLFER WE ARE SIXTY AND OVER AND ITS WAS FINE FOR OUR GAME
