Several holes require long accurate tee shots to carry wetlands. Strategic bunkers and water hazards exist on virtually every hole. very fast greens, some of them tiered, require you to be on the correct side of the hole or else you can count on three putting. If you can hit the ball a long way but not be sure what direction it will go, you'll have difficulty scoring.

You donot have to be an exceptionally straight hitter on this course. Generous landing areas in the fairway and primary rough will keep you in play. Very large greens will keep the putter in your hand, though on many holes you can easily have a 100 foot putt. The short but somewhat straoght hitter can, as Tiger says, "dink it around" Laurel creek and stay our of trouble and still shoot around 100.

Spectacular Links Style golf course that is a must play if you ever get the chance. Although the fairways appear generous, the preferred landing areas are actually quite small. Otherwise the golfer can be in the fairway but face an uneven lie. Tall fescue lining the fairways ruins any chance at par. The course conditions are immaculate. Perhaps the best practice facility you'll find in South Jersey.

if you are a golfer who shoots in the 90's and are invited to play this course bring lots of extra balls with you.

This course is beautiful. The fairways are lush and rolling sloping and have a spring like affect when you walk. fescue grass lines the tightly cut fairway to punish anything less than a good shot. About two years ago they heald the nike tournement here. If you hit the ball in the rough you will not find it. If you find a ball it is probably not yours. This course is private and the only reason i played here was that i am a high school golf student and we played the school Moorestown Friends.
