Easy to walk on, Paulie the greenskeeper, nice guy

Extremly slow pace of play, Too many arguments between the gamblers on the course. It is uncomfortable to play behind them

Went on a sunday afternoon. Everyone on the course was gambling. If you ever decide to go, expect to watch a foursome putt for 15-20 minutes per hole since money is on the line. There are no rangers there to speed up the pace.Could be a decent course, but way too many distractions to enjoy it. I will not be returning.

This course is located in Newark and thus not the most desirable surroundings for a round of golf. The conditions are surprisingly good considering and the expense in minimal. However, the environment, sounds and overall feel of the course are just not all that great. I would definitly choose any other county course over this one. Its just hard to really enjoy yourself here.

Location

Worst part of this course is it's location...near Newark.

I keep my money in my shoe when playing in the evening.
Layout is much better than expected. Conditions are very good.

Experienced some tense moments last year when someone was struck by ball near parking lot. Large gang appeared.
Close to a major fight. I held my breath.

Play this course only in daylight.
