the long wait

I love this course. I have played this course over a houndred times, and I always like going back. The front nine is nicely layed out, but the back nine has big gaps inbetween the tea boxes. I think that I get tired walking inbetween tea boxes more then the course. This coure is very diffent from the white and blue teas. It is not much farther from the backs, but the tea boxes are set in different places, so it forces people to shape shots, and hit the ball fairly long. I would not recomend anyone to play the back teas if they can not hit a drive over 260. From the white's I can shoot around par all day long, but from the back, a bad shot, the course will let you know. Over all, I would tell everyone to play this course, but if you want to play it on the weekend, come EARLY bacause the wait can get long.

Slow play and crowded

Very nice layout and conditions for a county course. The number #1 municipal course in Central Jersey. Front nine is easy, back nine is a very tough walk with 17 and 18 being
the toughest holes on the course.

This 6617 yard coarse is considered to be the #1 public golf coarse in centrel new jersey. Its heavily wooded and slopey. One fine coarse at low rates(9-28)
