Beckett is what I would call a workaday, blue collar course - not tee times, minimal dress code. It is a challenging layout, and you confront new and different obstacles at every hole. There are hills, doglegs, creeks, etc. - no two holes look alike. Conditions are good as long as rain is plentiful. If you're looking for a perfectly manicured, snooty golf course, go elsewhere - this course is not for snobs. If you like a down-to-earth, interesting layout, this is the place. The course is walkable (I always walk - I'm a fit 61-year-old female).

Customer Service

Personnel are always friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

Crapp Course, and terrible value. Goat ranch, and I am sparing no pitty. This course is not worth anyone's money except people that buy their golf equipment at Wal-Mart.

Customer Service

The Staff are flat out rude. From the lame pro-shop to the starter that doesn't know the difference between Red, Blue and White, to the lame restaurant server.

The golf course is in good shape and for the price you cant beat it. A little far in the middle of nowhere and not worth the drive if coming from afar. Slow players are very common.

Customer Service

Very nice but they do not accept credit cards.

I played the red and blue courses... They are fun to play but not maintained, but decent value for $29 with cart and lunch.

Customer Service

Nice enough but no ranger to move along slow play. Do not accept credit cards and ATM was broke.

I played the red/white course in October 2005 and was not too impressed. Greens were in need of repair and had weeds in places. Fairways were in need of a cut. Holes were not clearly marked in some cases. Played fairly fast until we got behind a high school competition. The coach hasn't instructed them yet on slow play. For $24 I guess it's not bad, but I get better treatment and pay $15 at Springfield Family Golf.

Customer Service

Awful. The punk at the desk taking my money acted annoyed that we showed up to, of all things, play golf and interupt his conversation with his girlfriend. The men's room was the worst I've seen at any course yet! Filthy, and the waste paper basket had not been emptied in days. Smelled like a sewer. Groundskeepers were everwhere but on the course and rude.

The course is 27 simple, low priced holes. Don't expect "high end" holes. You get what you pay for here. It doesn't cost too much, and you don't get too much. Plenty of slow players to make the course longer than it really is. Recommend playing the course in the off season, so you can keep moving.

Customer Service

OK.
