Shoots in the 70s

This is a beautiful course right in the middle of a sprawling metropolis. The course is a classic Tillinghast design, with small greens, and few bunkers. The course rambles through the hillsides of Union. To truly experience this course, make sure you use a caddy. The greens are some of the best I have ever putted on. The course is not long, but places a premium on accuracy. If you hit into the rough, good luck advancing the ball very far. In these days of goofy golf, courses with rail-road ties everywhere, rock outcroppings in the middle of fairways, and water hazards on almost every hole, Suburban is none of the above. Just straight-forward golf. This is truly a course for the purist to play.
