Shoots in the 90s

Played the course in mid may of '09. The course was in very bad condition, even with the "grounds crew" working on it. By "grounds crew" I mean a couple guys with no shirts smoking and joking on the fairways we were trying to play. The clubhouse/proshop is non existant, greens were horrible and most likely you will come away with poison ivy if you put any ball off the fairway. The sprinklers came on, on a friday mid day on memorial day weekend, while we were on the green. This is all par three's and one or two 4's. Overall a horrible course!

Customer Service

What customer service? I think they were annoyed we were even playing.

Play Cohanzick instead, only a couple minutes away but much better, and same price. Or avoid the area all together and drive to gloucester county or atlantic county for some very nice courses for a couple dollars more.

Shoots in the 90s

Short course that the retirement community frequents. Greens are, in some cases, ridiculously contoured (#7) and in rough shape. Fairways in need of repair and one must play dodge the sprinklers in the middle of the day. The vegetation needes to be cut back around some of the tee boxes.

Customer Service

Only two water coolers and the one on the back nine was empty! Nice proshop ladies. Shoestring operation and it shows.

Shoots in the 90s

This is as close to an executive course as one may find without actually being one. There are no par 5's and even the par 4's are, in many cases, par 3 length. Many seniors frequent this course, although, most were riding and therefore not holding up play. Greens were spongy and SLOW due to a need for a trim. Also bare spots and weeds were on the fringe and on some greens. Fairways were weed ridden and beaten up. Trees need to be cut back especially at #4 where the white tees are behind a pond and a very narrow shot is required to go past the trees. Doglegs are absurd requiring shaped shots, and sometimes drastically shaped, to have a chance at getting on in regulation. Most bunkers around the greens are deep and difficult and every green is well guarded. Fairways are in poor repair, weed ridden and bare in a number of places. This is mid-day, not 7:00 at night. Price was a bit high for walking even on a weekend. Very contoured greens, one ridiculously so (#7), especially on the front nine. Back nine is a bit more open, but not much. Whoever thinks this is a must play is way out to lunch. I will be in no hurry to return.

Customer Service

Friendly proshop woman. Free hotdog. No ranger. No groundskeepers. Very nice, though small, dining facility. There were only 2 water coolers for the entire course and the one on the back nine was empty! No "Johnny on the pots". Ball cleaners were well maintained.

Similar to Kresson, although classier, shorter and in a little better shape.

Shoots in the 90s

Beautiful but difficult course to play. Also a very short 18-hole course, averaging around 180 yards per hole. Most of the par 4's are very narrow and dog legged to a certain degree. Plenty of water hazards too. Greens are undulating but slow, mostly on the par 3's. The only hole that is over 300 yards is #18. Although it is a fun course to play, the tee boxes need extensive work -- too many are bald and in some cases uneven. Fairways are also a bit patchy. Senior citizens make up most of the customer base. Facility also has a restaurant and vending machines.

Customer Service

Friendly.
