Shoots in the 80s

The Rio Rancho Country Club (as of now known as Chamisa Hills) is a 36 hole course, with one course opened to the public and the three are only opened to the public for certain hours but are mainly for club members and school teams. I've played the courses many times for competitions. The course is not in the best shape. Even it's new public course Trevino is not that great. The fairways are in horrible shape. The course went through a lot repair a few years ago and it didn't help at all.

The area that the course is in isn't any better, getting to some holes requires you to cross streets and many of the holes are way too close to houses and apartments.

The driving range is the smallest driving range ever designed.

Overall, it is a good country club for many reasons but golf is sadly not one of them.

Customer Service

Customer Service is a little on the slow side and the playing 9-holes is quite expensive, especially if you are a person who plays golf multiple times every week.

Ladera Golf Course is very similar to Rio Rancho's Country Club. It is another course that is in pretty bad shape, however, it is a cheaper and a more well placed golf course then Rio Rancho's.
