Shoots in the 80s
Model Reviewed: Red Course

I played this course right before the senior tour came through. It was in great shape. I agree with the other post that some of the tee boxes were hard to find especially with lack of directional signs. The greens are in nice shape, the fairways are well maintained. The course offers a few challenging surprises that make you think. Some holes even have severe doglegs - tempting you to try and hit it over the tree line as a short cut to the green.

Customer Service

Nice service. It may be difficult to get a tee time at this course (as well as the two others) books up quickly.

Shoots in the 70s

I played the Red Course right after they had the Seniors Tour play there. So the course was in excellent condition. I did find it a number of times difficult to find the next tee box as ther were no signs. It was a good thing I was playing with some locals. I went back for a second round as I enjoyed the course.

Shoots in the 90s

An excellent course for starters and amateurs. There's a choice of 3 courses (red, white, and blue), each with a different difficulty level. The red course is nicest, and most difficult, especially after an extensive renovation in 1999. It's the only course of the 3 that offers some hidden water hazards. The white course is the easiest, a straight course with few doglegs and is perfect for those trying to straighten out their shots and work on accuracy. The blue is the middle course, so to speak, with some doglegs, a few trees, and a nice view of the local county jail. The fairways are pretty wide on all courses, the tees are big, the greens are not too tricky though a bit slow sometimes, and the wait times aren't too bad (except on weekends). I've played it several times. It also offers some double holes for par 3's, allowing faster groups to play through.

Customer Service

Very friendly greenskeepers and cashiers. Friendly food service. Park Rangers are too nosy sometimes.
