Timber Point is pretty decent. The location is great, right on the water. The course can be challenging as well, as the rough can be pretty thick in some spots.

Customer Service

Excellent. The folks in the pro shop are very friendly. If you are sick of the attitude at West Sayville then go to Timber Point or Bergen Point.

This is a very good course. Always maintained and courteous staff. Not as much as a challenge as bethage but well worth your time.

Wonderful landscape. Holes #2 and 5 (especially 5) are wonderfully challenging with water in play and great views. Nice long driveway to the clubhouse. Also, it's usually quite easy to get a tee time here.

Tremendous amount of goose and deer droppings. Greens are not in great shape. Lots of bare spots on fairways. Practice range is rather mundane with mats.

Three nine hole courses that could be wonderful if maintained better.

Very easy to make reservations with Suffolk County Green Key(fully automated, so none of that nonsense of showing up at 5:30 AM just to book a tee time for the day!)

Bring lots of bug spray, as the mosquitos are brutal in some areas!

Very scenic and picturesque course located right off the bay. Fairways and greens in excellent shape, particularly in light of all the rain we've gotten this season.

Three by nine hole courses assures plenty of variety each time you go.
