Greens and location of course. The greens as previously stated are smooth and slick, add to that they are consistent for pretty much all 27 holes. On a saturday morning, it took me exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes to drive up to Beekman from the heart of NYC- it'll probably take most people a little longer.

Prices for 18 was $60 including carts. Not bad, but you might expect a little more for the money. Not enough staffing out on the course; rangers, food, and the like. But to be able to play 18 in under 5 hours on a weekend within a 2 hour drive from NYC, $60 might be worth it to you.

Tee boxes leave a little to be desired, but the fairways were nice and consistent- a touch overgrown, but consistently so. Greens make Beekman a nice course. They were smooth and slick, but fair. Too much construction happening around the course, particularly the Taconic-9.

Customer Service

Making reservations was a pleasure, as were the pro shop staff. Unfortunately, the on course staff is close to non-existent, and was not at all helpful.
