OK Now its 2011 and the place is great, well kept, play moves fast..$18 walk up green fees, a private course where the public can play. Glad I found it! I played this course last saturday and it was very nice. Its pretty cheap and good for a short outing. Make sure you can hit your driver well before you play this course because its a long 9 holes. I used a $3 pull cart for my bag which was just fine. You dont need an electirc cart here. Greens are well kept and have a lot of curves for a small 9 hole course. If you can hit strait this course shouldnt be a challenge for you. |

Peninsula is a very good course to learn on for three reasons: one is that the price is right; right now just to walk it's $7 during the week and $8 on weekends during the offseason, and during the season it's about $16 give or take about two bucks. The second reason is that it is not uncommon for even the beginner to start and finish with the same ball; this course is very open, and the some of only trees are single strips by the tees to prevent anyone from getting hit by a rogue ball from the beginner trying to use a driver (once the ball hits one of them, it's simple to find the ball). Thirdly, there are not many bunkers, so this course is not very frustrating. Getting a tee time is easy. The greens are maintained well, but the tees are a bit chopped up, they could use a small amount of maintenance. Other than that, this is a fantastic 9 hole course for the average weekend golfer. Customer Service Tee times are easy to make, getting them is on a "first come first serve" basis. Similar Products Used: The restaurant is under new management, and is very clean. Botht the food and service is very good. |
