Great little course. Ideal for beginners and quick, late afternoon rounds. Fairways are wide open, greens are average size w/ little contour. Just a fun Course w/ some great views of Jones Beach.

Customer Service

Very friendly staff.

Shoots in the 90s

This is where it all began for me. This is perhaps the best beginner course on Long Island. This 9-holer has everything. It offers a breathtaking view of Merrick Cove on the 2nd hole (can see Jones Beach Tower and Tommy Hilfiger Theatre). You can find a lot of golf balls on the first two holes, as water hugs the left side. Shank it and you're done. The most challenging hole is a 490-yard par 5, dogleg left. If you're just starting to play, this is the course for you. Practically a walk-on course after 2:30. Great prices, too. Built next to a landfill turned hiking park.

Customer Service

As friendly as can be.

Putting is very good, if you can catch the course when the greens are in good shape.

Shoot in the 100s

This is my 2nd yr playing and this is a great place to learn.First 2 holes have water along sides and have great view of the water can see jones beach theater and boats out in the bay, also provides nice cool breeze off water if wind blowing that way.Course set up nicely some holes to close together and you get people hitting balls onto your fairway. It does get crowded in prime summer times 2.5hr wait but if you go in late afternoon it clears out and sometimes walked right out. This summer greens were very slow and the ruff very high because of alot of rain but got better this fall. Now the big problem is the geese which leave there mess all over the course. But to me this is my home course for now and for 10$ its easy to overlook anything.Try it out

This a great regulation 9 holes, ~3200 yards. Doglegs, water in play, and very well place fairway bunkers. Great scenery on the 2nd hole. Great for beginners.
