The setting for this course is quite beautiful. Several holes feature views out over the valley. They have turned the nines around since the previus review (former #1 is now #10, former #10 is #1). The course can be quite challenging from the back tees, esp for medium hitters. Number 9 is a great par five up the hill with bunkers in play on each shot and a blind approach to the elevated green. Number 18 - the par four mentioned below, is not a favorite of mine. It is too steep and requires pin-point accuracy and decent length to par. My favorite hole is probably the 7th a tricky par 5 that allows you to play it several different ways. Its a real risk/reward hole.

Customer Service

Very friendly service - not much in the way of food and beverage.

Biggest knoc on this course is the price and the (sometimes) extremely slow greens. They get a lot of outings hre and seem to be afraid to mow and roll the greens enough to make them fast.

A dramatic layout on the side of a small mountain. Some holes have remarkable elevations. #1 is a par 5 straight down the mountain (reachable in 2). #10 is a driveable par 4 with lots of danger around the green. #9 is straight up the hill! Well maintained with fast greens. Beautiful tee boxes. Carts are a must...if you walk you must be in great shape.

Customer Service

Tee times are easy to make, due to extremely high cost.

Restaurant is nice, pro-shop is non-existent. Owner will follow you around the shop if he doesn't know you...too suspicious.
