Shoots in the 90s

I grew up playing this course. It's got a lot of character and is fun to play. It's nice too, and could be even nicer. The course gets pretty backed up though....I think that they should do away with people walking the course due to so many people playing. There is a cool snack bar in the middle of the course and the back nine is great.

Customer Service

Hit or miss, but usually not too friendly. Definitely a buddy system course...if they know you and like you they'll skip you ahead....they treat young people like garbage, which is a shame because some of the young guys are pretty decent players.

Great municipal course located on the Great South Bay. Extremely competent staff, beautiful views, and most importantly well maintained. I play this course at least 1 a week in season and very rarely can I say it is in bad shape. Slow, large greens. Fun Course.

Customer Service

Great, Extremely helpful staff.

Shoots in the 90s

Course plays slow in season with a good public course green fee. Great staff includes the pro and greenskeepers.A variety of challanges present themselves as you play 18, an when you are done- your golf appitite will be satisfied. This is a good walking course and many will carry their own bags. Most greens are big targets from the fairway but they done necessarily play the same as the wind geberally dries the, and quickens them from mid day on.

Overall this track offers a great value. While the course is not super long, it demands creativity and versatility. Fairways and greens are in good shape for a heavily traffic public course. However, bunker sand quality is not consistent thorughout the course.

Very nice staff, tees are kept nice. Greens are usually well kept. Long hitters and creative short gamers should shoot well here.
