Oh how I miss Oyster Bay. Fazio design, for a muni...unheard of. I began playing golf at age 4 here at OB. Great people and great track. Maybe I'm a little bit partial. Not too difficult, but considering I've played it well over 800 times, it may be tough if it's your first. Not long, but demands precision. Front nine is tight, back opens up. The finishing holes are annually rated among the toughest on Long Island. And for good reason. I don't know if the greens fees are worth it for an out-of-towner, but I don't think you will be too disapointed.

This is a great public course, owned and operated by the town of oyster bay. Course is long from the back tees with alot of trees that line each hole. From the tee box you feel like you are driving through a tree lined narrow/very narrow tunnel. You have to hit straight and long to score well. The course was in great shape all summer. This course is tougher off the tee box and easier to the green, although no push over. Great value for a course on Long Island, private course feel on a very public course.
