North River Club - Golf courses, Beaufort, NC

DESCRIPTION

The North River Club's Golf Course may be the only golf course in Beaufort, NC, but its quality and impact are without a doubt world class. This championship layout was designed by award-winning architect Bob Moore of the JMP Golf Design Group, and stretches to 7,200 yards from the back tees, while playing to a par of 72. Featuring five sets of tee boxes, which range in distance from the 7,200-yard tips, down to a manageable 5,017 yards from the forward tees, the North River Club's golf course can be enjoyed by golfers of all ability levels. The course features expansive waste bunkers that enhance the visual appeal of the course, while lakes and ponds, many with wooden bulkheads, have been created to bring water into play on seven holes. There will be a large practice range and a putting green and the spacious two story club house will include a club grill, pro shop, lockers and members lounge.
