The course and the people on the course both deserve kudos.

Proshop over priced and staff gives new meaning to arrogant.

Great course. Played in January and the condition of the fairways, tees and greens was great.

Layout, condition of course. The ball sits up very good in fairway. Nice practice facility--all grass.

As previous reviewer observed, slothful and largely clueless staff working the cart area. Trailer as clubhouse only temporary.

Played here on 2/18/2001 with a group of golf guys from VA. For a new course, Crow Creek is in terrific condition: lush, overseeded fairways, well manicured tees, nice greens. Challenging but fair course. I'd come back here any day.

A new course with a great variety of golf holes. The course is wide open and affected by the wind big time. You need to be able to hit knockdown and bump and run shots to score well. Imperative you play the proper tees for your handicap if you want to enjoy your day. Course was in great shape for being new except #17 fairway which was pretty much dirt with a touch of grass. The greens putted smooth with good speed, around 9-10 on the Stimp. The greens had character to them. Would like to downgrade my overall rating due to a service issue with an owner that doesn't understand what good customer service is all about but that wouldn't be fair to the course, which just sits there and makes you play good golf. As long as you don't have to come into contact with the owner, this is a must play course.

Customer Service

Was very disappointed with an incident at the snack bar. While making the turn, wanted to take a minute to see how the PGA tournament was doing. There was NASCAR race and I asked if we could change it for just a minute. The only two people sitting in the snack bar said no. One of them was the owner of the course. The snack bar attendent apologized to us for his manners, or lack of.

Greens are very smooth and consistent in speed. Course maintenance is very good. Course allows you to hit all types of shots. No bad holes and a lot of very good holes.

Customer service!!!! This is the fourth time Ihave played here and I always start out in a sour mood due to the ignorance at the bagdrop area. This time I walked up and asked if my bag could be put on a cart. His actual comment was"how do you do that?" I don't have a clue why he would say this but he did. I responded by saying, "I'll show you how?", and proceeded to pickup my bag at which time he took it and put it on for me. He then asked where I was going and said the putting green. He wanted to know when Iwas coming back because, and Iquote, "He didn't want carts running all over the place." Even another guest standing nearby scratched his head over this comment. I will say the pro shopservice and the on course service has dramatically improved over past expereinces and is very good. They just need to get some training from a REAL trainer to get their bag drop area (the first impression of the course)in shape.

This is my second review on this course. The last time I played here was several months ago. The main purpose of this review is to try and get their attention on looking at their customer service. The course is great and the condition is great. I would give this course four to five stars in every category if it wasn't for the lousy service at the bagdrop area.
