Never played the course. Just heard about it so decided to go see the facilites. The guy at the pro shop was a bonehead. He told me that no T-shirts are allowed on the property. I know courses have rules, but I just went there to look at the place and get prices. Plus it is a city public course. It was not like I came to play.

Charles T. Myers appears to be a step below some of the higher end courses in the area on pure aesthetics, but it's a fun place to play a round. You have some room on the fairways, and there is enough variation to keep things interesting. It's better the second time through when you've had a chance to see how each hole plays out. The rough isn't bad at all. Greens are on the slower side, but consistent enough that you can adjust your putting.

Customer Service

Always very friendly.

This course is a links style course that is actually laid out over an abandoned landfill.

The fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Club selection and course management are key in scoring well at Charles T. Myers. Like all links courses, course knowledge keeps you out of "sneaky" trouble.

The course plays 6783 from the championship tees. While some of the holes are short, they require accurate placement off the tee. The par 5 9th is 570 yards from the championship tees. Some of the "short" holes play "longer" than the card indicates due to slope, etc.

I wholeheartedly recommend this course.

Customer Service

tee times were easy to make. Staff busy, but friendly..
