Shoots in the 80s

Place has gone down hill since partnering up with Birkdale. If not for the GPS carts, this course would be in deep trouble. Paid $64 to play on a Friday. Traps are inconsistant and several greens have serious weed problems. Save your money or play late in the day when rates go down.

Nice varied layout, lots of water, bunkers - quite a bit of target golf. Tests all aspects of your game. Beautiful in the spring, especially, and in its best shape then. Significant downside is that it is a major "outing" facility, and thus gets lots of play - often slow on weekends, and the course can get rather worn by midsummer. Under the right conditions, though, well worth playing.

Highland Creek is consistently voted one of the best (if not the best) course in Charlotte. It's also among the most difficult. The rough can be brutal and the greens have ranged from pretty fast to lightning fast. Water comes into play regularly. It isn't cheap, but it's a great course.

Customer Service

No complaints.
