The course is a great layout, and a great test. The greens are a bit slowm but the staff is great. I highly recommend it.

Course was in Great condition- The course would be more challenging if the rough was higher and the green speeds were faster. I will definatley play there agian. For the money 27.00 (Senior Price Age 55) I have never played a better course.

Customer Service

Shoots in the 80s

I enjoyed my round at Salem Glen. I played on a Monday afternoon and basically had the course to myself. The greens were a little shoddy, but the conditions otherwise were great. I doubt you'll find another Jack Nicklaus course for this price. I'd definitely play again.

Customer Service

Pro Shop attendant was very nice and accomodating. Snack shop gal was nice as well. Very professionally run.

Shoot in the 80s

Tucked away down a country road near Winston Salem, this was a very pleasant surprise. Glen Day did a super job on one of his fresman efforts. Enjoyed the 1st round so much I played 36. Very helpful starter who immediately placed me with two nice groups, taking care of the intros, etc. Most holes seemed pretty obvious, but local knowledge clearly a benefit. The 2nd par 3 on the front is championship quality, as is the "signature" par 5 on the back, a rolling downhiller of reachable distance, but a deep gully in front of the green prevents any "rollups".
Greens were fairly new (course built in 1997) and rolled better than ANY I have played recently, including some $$$ courses, Very true and pleasantly fast.
Carts have superior built in GPS that NEVER failed me in terms of distance, despite what markers said. Adjusted for pin placement. As good as the $150 resorts.
PM rates $ during the week. $35 full fare.
Any balls lost were 100% my fault - no surprises.

Customer Service
