I have been meaning to post a review about this course for a while now. I love it!! If your an average golfer you will appreciate the design, water and greens. There is nice scenery around the course and it backs up to a NC state park. I ask for two things when I play. For the course to be in decent shape and just to be treated with a little courtesy. You get both of these at this course. You can also pay $25 and play all day during the week.

This was a fun course to play. It's all about the greens here and they are in very good shape and fast and smooth. They are like playing on vintage Donald Ross greens with fall offs and extreme back to front slopes. You have to play this course several times to get it. It is a beautiful course with streams running thoughout it. Many holes are tree lined and tight. Play it smart with lay ups if you want a better round. I will look forward to playing this course again. The fairways are a little rough but it is winter. You can walk this course for only $10. What a deal. Have fun and hit'm straight.

The person who checked us in was very nice. I had a good laugh with him after our round with telling him about the greens and how it beat me to death, hahah

I have played several Donald Ross courses and these greens are a smaller version even though they are not made by him. He must have influenced the designer is some way. I don't play par 68 course very ofter but I will look forward to my next attempt.

This was a fun course to play. You can walk it for only $10. They say the slope/rating is only 103/64.8 but it is much harder because of the greens and creeks that meander thoughout the course. They must have been inspired by Donald Ross because of the fall offs and the severe slope from back to front. Many pitch shots rolled off the sides and back atcha. You really need your "A" short game to play well. It is a beautiful course with running streams thoughout the course. The fairways are not in great shape but okay, after all, it is winter. For the price, you can't beat it. It is a little ways off of I-40 but I will play it again to test my short game.

Customer Service

The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. We had some good laughs after I talked over my round with him. The greens are amazing, to say the least.
