Awesome golf course and its only April. Grass not yet totally green but the layout is extremely tough. Shot makers course as you can hit a perfect drive and lose a ball. Hackers or high handicaps are in for a VERY long day. Loved the layout, greens were not yet completely healed from airating but rolled very nice.

This course was in spectacular shape. You must hit your drives straight here or you are in for a LONG day. There are some very challenging holes, and this is definitely not your run of the mill muni. Bring your "A" game. Outstanding track. That is all I have to say about that.

Greens, conditioning, good variety of scenary and golf holes

The lack of a clubhouse is an absolute travesty! Who in their right mind would join a country club with an old mobile home for a clubhouse.

One of the best public courses in the Charlotte area, even though it is quite pricey ($70) This course is 'semi-private', so it is still open to the public. Verdict Ridge is definitely a shot-makers course with a good variety on each nine. The greens are some of the best I have ever putted. The fairways are nice but this course rarely overseeds in the off-season, so it doesn't turn green until sometime in May. Also, since this course is fairly new, it has not been overrun with housing yet, proving a peaceful, tranquil round of golf!

Still has the growing pains of a new course. No clubhouse....yet.

All I can say is WOW! This course would be the envy of most country clubs and is now my personal favorite. The course layout is spectacular through rolling foothills. Undulated greens will test even the best golfer's skill. Verdict Ridge is a shot makers course and you'll use every club in the bag. This is a must play.
