This is one of my favorite layouts in the Raleigh area. Challenging, but a lot of fun. The tees and greens are usually in good shape. The fairways are still recovering from the drought of 2002. Great par 5s and some good long par 4s. You need to drive it long and straight to play this course. The course is a bit short from the white tees - I would definitely recommend playing it from the blue tees (but not championship unless you are really good).

This course is a great addition to the Durham area. Each hole has its own personality. Par fives are some of the toughest around, especially the 18th.

The first time I played this course I said "I've found my new favorite course". The layout is good, and the challenge is perfect - a tough, but fair course in good condition.

The second time I played the course, there was a small sign that said there were temporary tees on a couple holes. When we got around to one of the holes, the whole fairway was a wreck and the temporary tees were less than a 100 yards from the green. The sprinklers were running and the fairway was a river. We skipped the hole. Two holes later - same thing. We were so mad!! We were not informed of this when we made the tee time, but gee, we got $6 off the price - for 16 holes of golf!!!
So much for my favorite course. I have had it with crap courses!!!
