Maintenance great. tees great, greens great, fairways average. back nine: challenging, front nine: average. Not much water. a few creeks.

Greens are a good challenge. Course is in good condition. d

Rough is not thick and is almost like being in the fairway. Putting the ball in the short grass of the tee loses importance.

Hope Valley is a good course. It is not very long tee to green and not an incredible challenge for your long game, but will challenge your short game immensly. The greens are fast and undulate greatly as is typical of a Donald Ross design course. It is a fun course to play and holds the possibility to go low, but sharpen up on your short game before playing here.
