nice ross layout with a friendly staff. greens r small and undulating. only problem i have with the course is the houses around it r close. but a fantastic course

If you like Ross courses, you'll love Sedgefield. Variety of layout, a couple of really long par threes and several tough par fours will make use of all your clubs and require shaping your shots both ways to obtain best results. Very rewarding for good shots. Comfortable, gorgeous old-style clubhouse facilities with courteous, friendly staff.

Par fives have become too short for today's equipment. Green condition can vary in early spring (poa annua) and become thin in mid summer based on heat and waterfall. You'll need a member's invitation and company in order to play.

Wonderful old Donald Ross layout. Private course and home to the Greater Greensboro Open from early thirties to mid seventies. Common Bermuda fairways and Bent grass greens. Undulating fairways follow natural terrain lined by large oak, cherry, and dogwood trees in an old, quiet private residential community. Best course condition in late spring and early autumn. Hot, arid summers can create trouble for green condition. Course is generally well maintained and manicured nicely. Typical small, somewhat crowned greens will challenge your shot making skills and test your putting nerves. Practice your chipping before playing.
