Shoots in the 70s

Scenic and challenging course. You have to be accurate off the tees and precise with your fairway shots. In terrific shape. One of my favorite tracks anywhere.

Customer Service

Excellent. Amiable and helpful pro shop staff.

Shoots in the 80s

I really like this course. I'm a fan of tree-lined, narrow courses and this one is very nice. Greens were challenging and shot-making is a must. It definitely is a course where you can't just aim in a general direction. Several greens are surrounded by bunkers. Lots of water. Beautiful live oaks lining the fairways. We had some members in front of us who were playing incredibly slow, but other than that we had a great time. We played with the GSGA card so we got the local rate.

Customer Service

I had a good experience, but my playing partner didn't get the same vibe.

I've played this course often. Lockwood Folly is is a hidden gem for sure, and one anyone vacationing in the area should try to play.
One of the most beautiful layouts on the Strand. Very narrow fairways with lots of water and traps makes this a challenging course for all levels.
The fairways and greens were in excellent condition.
The view coming up the 18th is the icing on the cake.

Shoot in the 70s

One of my very favorite courses on the Grand Strand. This is a demanding track, requiring accuracy off the tee. There's lots of trouble to be found, but it's nonetheless quite fair, rewarding the good shots as well as punishing the errant ones. LFCC is a spectacularly beautiful course; several holes afford views of the salt marshes, river, Intracoastal Waterway and, if you strain your neck a bit on the 18th green, the Atlantic Ocean. I highly recommend this course

Customer Service

Very friendly staff. Never had a problem making a tee time.

Shoot in the 80s

Difficult course...very challenging. Was down at Myrtle on vacation and out of four rounds, posted my worst score here (hangover didn't help- either!) Would love to tackle this monster again when I'm clear headed though...it beat me up pretty good. Usually I'm in the mid80's-90 range...shot 101 here..Yikes.
