Course was decent and in decent shape. Greens are little hard but are full and no bare spots. Fairways are basic grass but are keep mowed and overall in decent shape. I really like the layout of this course. Even tho I am in the 100's I like a little challenge to a course. Price is little high- $28 during week and $35 on weekends. I think $20 and $25-28 would be a good price for this quality of course.

SUCKS Went to Kings Mountain Country Club today and played 9 holes. The course was decent shape and I like the layout. But, the lady running the pro shop is a B I T * *. Asked for a handicap flag and she said "we don't do that HERE" like it is beneath them to allow someone that may need some assistance play their course. Then she said "And we don't give refunds or rain checks, so if you cant play all the holes you don't get any money back." So I probably will not go back due to this person's attitude. If she is the owner I hope they go broke, and probably will with this kind of customer service. And if she is just an employee-I hope the owner reads this and fires her smart mouth ass.

Played 9 holes several times. Course needs TLC. There are better courses in the area and this is one who needs to decide where they re going to be a great course and spend what it takes. Or a discount course and keep it full. Now you get a discount course with full course price. This area has a lots of better courses at the same price range. Even the muni. at Shelby is in better shape.
