Liked the course a lot... lots of birdie chances but lots of trouble if you stray. Staff in pro shop bragged about their new greens and they had a right to... rolled real nicely for a seaside southeast course.

My favorite course on, or around, the outer banks. Lots of forced cares from the back tees of 180-210yrds. When the wind blows, and it usually does, this course is a monster. It is perhaps the hardest 6000yrds in golf. The par 3 15th is 231yrds dead into the prevailing wind. I hit a driver "on the screws" and didn't get their. By the way, Albemarle sound runs up the entire right hand side with a pond and marsh on the left. If you play well there you can score and feel great about the experience, but, an off day can cause frustrations that border on rage. Having played the course 5 times now it is truely a love hate relationship.

Our group got a little load out on the patio at the 19th hole and they asked us to leave. We weren't that load. Come on.

Although challeged for space they still put in a driving range with balls that go about 60% with yardage markers proportional to the balls.

This course is a joke, it cost $85, save your money. Take the drive to TPC at Virgian Beach, it is well worth the 1 1/2 drive.

Great course and you better bring a camera.

This is a well run, very difficult course with the best water views I've seen. You may want to leave your woods in the bag if you have some trouble keeping it on the fairway. Bring extra balls and a camera. Good twilight rates and you may just get 18 in if you start at 4. A very fun and well kept course

Customer Service

Excellent - they didn't have our tee time by some mistake, but still got us off 15 minutes later
