Good overall test of ability for the average weekend golfer

Can be hard to concentrate with all the children in the neighborhoods.

This is the definition of a fair course. If you hit fairways and greens then you can put together a good round. The greens are not lightning, but you can putt right off them if you put yourself in the wrong spot. As the other 2 reviews mentioned, not hitting a fairway generally means you redecorated someone's porch of roof, so the aesthetics aren't great. Play after the twilight rate kicks in and you are getting a good deal, play before and you are paying too much.

I have to agree with the previous review. Hedingham used to be my favorite course. It has a great layout and is usually in pretty decent shape. It has a nice blend of easy and hard holes. I've shot some of my best scores out there. Now for the bad news.....they have totally ruined the back nine by putting the cheapest, smallest, closest-together homes and townhomes right up to the edge of the course. I haven't played there for a long time and don't know if I ever will again.

This is my home course and while it is in the best shape ever, it is not a premium course and not worth what they charge paying patrons on the weekends. They have ruined the course visually by putting up the cheapest crap homes and townhomes on the course. The layout is good and there are plenty of challenging holes but it is not as enjoyable as it used to be
