Nice course. Plays through a housing development but the houses do not intrude the play at all. Course was in good shape when I was there. There are a few really good holes on the course. The llama caddie deal is a joke(unless that's your thing). Three good finishing holes 16 is a easy bogie hole, 17 is a easy birdie hole and 18 can go either way depending on your tee shot over the lake.

Customer Service

OK layout that is in so so condition. First played it in 1999 and was impressed. Play it about once a year and seem to be less and less impressed. Nothing stands out. Worth playing if you can book in package that includes Talamore and The Mid South Club. Mid South and the condos at Talamore are what makes it worth it.

Customer Service

Not very helpfull and seem to busy for customers. Seem to not care for return business.

PLayed on 3/30 with eight buddies. Great condition, greens were fast and furious. PLayed Tobacco Road same day and all preferred Talamore. Traditional layout and design. A must play for all Pinehurst golfers. Go to Squire's Pub on the way home!

A great course with wonderful conditioning all around. The course was fair and very playable with a lot of variety in the holes, a lot of holes playing up and down hills with beautiful greens complexes and very true greens. The course just gave you a comfortable feeling all around, challenging, but not overly penal like Tobacco Road or The Carolina. It has a nice mature country club feel to it with a nice clubhouse. The villas are the best place to stay in the Pinehurst area without staying at Pinehurst Resort. They are brand new brick front villas with two br, two master bath, great kitchen and 3 TV's. We had a wonderful time staying here as it is centrally located to Pinehurst, Southern Pines, etc.

Customer Service

Nice service all around. Our cart broke down and we called on the cell phone and they were there within a stroke or so.

You know you are in the right place as soon as you arrive at Talamore. The villas' are great!! Very comfortable and spacious. The golf course itself is a treat to play. Challenging for sure, but playable at the same time. The fairways were in superb shape with no "dead" areas in sight. The greens were nice too. Took a little while to get used to the speed, but once you do it is fine. The folks in the clubhouse were very nice as were the rangers and the starter. I used an entire roll of film on this course!! highly recommend playing here when in the area.

Customer Service

When we were making the arangements, the person we worked with was awesome. She was very helpful and always pleasant on the phone. First class operation
