They sold the course and changed its name. I understand that the folks have some money to invest so maybe there is some hope that the course will recover.

Golf course was in horrible shape. The fairways were as think as most rough around here. Plus, you couldn't tell what was fairway, and what was rough. Sand bunkers were just HARD!!! Greens were nice but wooly also.

Customer Service

Great

Shoots in the 70s

I called this course on a Thursday to make a tee time on Sunday to meet some friends I hadn't seen in a while. I had to drive an hour, and my other friends had to drive at least that far as well. This was just a central location for us. There are several courses in the area, so I asked when calling for the tee time, if the course was in good condition. They told me it was in great shape. I found upon arrival that the greens had just been punched. 15, 16, 17, 18, had all been washed out by a creek that flooded, and 15 was converted to a par 3 because there was no fairway. 16 only had the left side of the fairway, 18 fairway was too wet to walk on. Now, I don't mind that the course was in bad shape, it's just that I specifically asked because I didn't want to drive so far with other courses in the area if this one wasn't in decent conditions. I was lied to, and no one can tell me the staff didn't know about the conditions 3 days prior to my round. I have always liked the course here, but the conditions have always been sketchy. I will not go back if the course staff will not give an honest appraisal of the conditions.

Customer Service

Terrible, they were completely dishonest about the conditions.

New management doing right things for the player. Keeping course in best possible condition(greens really good this fall), good senior rates during week, fresh water on the course daily, attention to detail shows committment of owner.

This course has had money problems Because of this, the course has suffered. With the new owner in place who is committed to running a quality course, Things are looking up. They have hired a new greenskeeper that came from Catawba Country Club.
