Excellent!

Please East Course. First time playing the course and I liked it. No really tricky holes except for #6. You can't tell where the water starts and it's farther than it looks. Play it wrong and you'll have a loooonnng carry over water. Greens have a lot of character and roll nice. Sand traps could have used a bit of work. Fairways were in good shape mostly with a couple of thin spots.

Nice people, although I was told the drink cart was operating and it never appeared and the snack bar at the turn was closed. The pro shop guy was very nice.

Beauty, playability, conditioning and value for the dollar... During the summer you can play for $35 in the afternoon. Plus they allow you to bring your own cooler.

A fine pair of coastal Carolina golf courses designed by Dan Maples. The East Course plays a bit shorter than the West, but both are typically in excellent condition with medium to fast bent grass greens and a wonderful variety of holes. The most dramatic stretch of golf is found on the back nine of the West course, especially holes 13-18, which feature two very short par threes and three par fives, two of them playing over 600 yards and the third (#18) daring you to carry a small estuary and the oyster tabby fronting the green in order to to reach it in two shots. These are demanding but very fair layouts. You must use every club in your bag.
