Shoots in the 80s

Silver Creek is a test from the first tee on. The 3rd hole is a par 3 that plays into the prevailing wind and from the back (Black) tees plays at 225 yards (that plays longer as it is almost always into the wind). Several shorter par 4's give the long hitters a chance for a risk/reward shot if they go for the green. The course is in excellent shape with bent greens that stimp at 10.5 to 11 in the summer. This is a fun and challenging golf course that is a great get-a-way from the heat of Phoenix or Tucson in the summer. Located 13 miles from Show Low, Arizona and at 6000 feet, the summers are very mild with 70's-80's the norm.

Customer Service

The golf shop is well appointed with soft goods as well as clubs, putters, bags etc. at reasonable prices. Silver Creek hosts the Navapache Amateur, one of the premier amateur golf tournaments in northern Arizona every year.
