The course rewards the straight hitter. The par 5 #7 is a beast. So is #11- if you manage par on it, you're rewarded with two short and scorable par 4's. Remember to snap a picture on the 12th teebox its a heck of a view. Beware the approach on 14, the green is narrow, it's a tricky shot. It's got the best mix of par 4's in the area- some long and wide, some short and tight. Lots of downhill tee shots allow for some pretty views, and let's not forget some monster drives. It's a fun course to hit driver on. The par 3's are where you should score the best. #17 par 3 is my fav, plays about a 7-iron to a sloping green with bunker left. #8 par 3 is a toughie, uphill to a small green with bunkers everywhere. Course is always well maintained. It's definitely the kind of course that will make you learn to play smart golf, as many of the greens are guarded by creeks, bunkers, or elevation. Don't fear the layup at laurel! A bit pricey- look for twilight rates

Several holes are not a true test of golf, and many blind shots

Golf course is in good shape and well maintained. However, the layout is a terrible, does not reward good shots, and is too penalizing. Bring alot of ammunition to this mountain golf course.
