I play in a league at St Albans, and I find it to be a great all around golf course. The people working here are very nice and laid back. Although it's not a very difficult course, it does have a something for all levels of golf experience. No real need for working the ball on most holes. If you hit straight, you'll score well here. If you bomb the driver, then most of the par 4's will be a mid to short wedge after the tee shot. Surrounded by woods, with spots of water, sand and a creek that cuts a few holes in half, so there is trouble if you mis-hit or are not consistent. Definitely, one of my favorite courses for the money, but if you're a scratch or better golfer, don't expect to face alot of challenges here. I'm about a 6 handicap, so I still love playing this course.
