Nice layout that has a little of everything with traps, water, doglegs to provide a challenge. Some holes are tree lined and others are wide open. The course is well maintained. The fairways and greens have always been in good shape when I have played there. Never see any discounts other than for seniors. They do offer memberships if interested.

First off, this is a course known for quality. The original layout of the course has been redesigned to make an 18 hole course. The change occured in the 80's and caused a more difficult course to emerge afterward. Playing from the white tees at Chardon Lakes forces you to have accurate tee shots at many holes. If you happen to make a error a punishment is surely to follow. The overall quality is very satisfactory, not great but good enough. Maintenence is good, everyone is friendly and does their job well. I would very much suggest it, I'm a member and really enjoy the course. Try though for a less busy time, not on the weekends. Saturdays in July have times where you'll wait longer than you'll play. This really hurts the fun that you have playing the course. Its a great place to play and a challenging yet scenic look at what the area has to offer at golf.

No restaurant, only a bar. The golf shop is limited to umbrellas and used clubs, its sad. The range is excellent, rarely crowded and the sand trap makes for great practice. Teaching is good, price is reasonable with good tips.
