Shoots in the 90s

The course has been under renovation but is still crabgrass fairways and hard packed clay. It has always been crabgrass and clay but now the new owners are charging $35 for 18 and $30 dollars for 9. The place was packed yesterday (Sunday) and the course had an outing going and let green fees out during the outing. One hour and 15 minutes into the round we had completed 4 hours after following a group playing in a church scramble tournament take way too much time on every shot.

Customer Service

The slow play was due to greed. The ownership allowed an outing and greens fees on the course at the same time. Nobody told us when we made a tee time or when we arrived that we would be in the middle of an outing. And to make matters worse this course has no marshals or rangers. Several other groups we chatted with (while waitng on tees for as long as 10 minutes to hit our next shots) expressed DEEP regret for paying $35 to play a 5-6 hour round. I left the course after 4 holes and told the manager of slow play and disgust at not being informed that there was an outing on the course. The managers response was essentially "Oh, there's a church tournament in front of you and we don't have a ranger today. Sorry, good bye."

Shoots in the 70s

I basically grew up playing here and we like to refer to it as "the chip" This will not be the most manicured course you will ever play but there are a number of interesting holes as well as water on better than half of the holes.

Customer Service

clubhouse staff is always friendly.
