This is one of the nicest courses in NE Ohio. It is always in great condition. The greens are some of the fastest and nicest around. Great layout, especially the back nine. Everybody that lives in the area should go play here, definitely worth the drive and money.

Customer Service

Great, the starters every time we have played here have been great and very friendly. They also have some great jokes for you while you are waiting.

Played here about 3 weeks ago and loved it. A lot of very challenging holes, especially on the back. Course was in great shape and very well maintained. Pace of play was fast. No complaints at all. Paid $25 for 18 with a cart, weekday morning, which is a great deal for what you get. I live about 25 miles away and it's well worth the drive. I plan on playing this course several more times this summer.

Customer Service

Clubhouse is very well stocked and the people were all friendly.

Good course, especially after new renovations. I would not describe it as the best course in NE Ohio, however. Indeed, I am somewhat skeptical of the other reviews as they seem to be fraught with plagarism, and inside information from the golf shop.

Customer Service

Friendly, yet local

Wow. I just played this course after more rain fell than can possibly be handled in the area. The course still played outstandingly. The greens are fast and the ball rolls pure. Make sure you are able to add/cut club to adjust to the pin locations. The greens are all long and narrow. The triangle (holes 14-16) are as challenging a series of holes as I have ever played. Did I mention it is reasonable to play. $20 to walk... Doesn't get much better. The best thing is I used to play it before they really started getting it in shape. What a contrast, just wish I still lived around here.

Customer Service

BS'd with the starter for a good 15 minutes. Great people who know their stuff. Oh by the way, I don't think they could fit another golf club in the pro shop. They have it all at great prices!

Not a purer test of golf exixts anywhere !!!! Better condition than some private courses. Perfect, very tight fairways and the fastest public fee greens ANYWHERE !! Depending the tees you choose, the rough can be especially tough if playing from it. The front nine offers no conception as to what you will see on the back nine. This course is a blend of a slight hint of a links layout and a traditional old style course.
It is my understanding this course is about to undergo a bit of a change, with a new clubhouse coming, new practice facility and a year round restaurant and banquet facility coming in the not too distant future..
Do yourself a favor, come play Chippewa Golf Club !!!!

Grew up playing this course. Best public course around Northeast Ohio. Fairways are beautifully managed and greens play tough.
