This has always been one of my favorite courses. The course is generally in good shape and plays quite long, with water in play on a large nuber of holes. Overall not an overly challenging course as the fairways are wide and not punished much for missing them. For a 15 handicapper like myself it's a fun course and good value year round.

it had rained quite a bit the day before so there was standing water in some fairways and the greens were slow. but besides that, the course was not to my liking compared to courses i played during the same weekend.

the tee boxes were crap... like they hadn't been tended to for months. the greens were fine (huge greens to hit into - take almost 2 clubs if pin in the back). i wasn't a big fan of the layout either. you weren't penalized at all for spraying the ball left or right since the fairways ran next to each other. there are some nice holes, but top to bottom, it lacks a wow factor.

would rather find a better course next time for the same price.

Beautiful silica bunkers, but no silica.

Great course, good value. Past home of a Senior PGA tour stop. Course plays long on calm day, if the wind is up can play very difficult. Very large greens with subtle undulations, putt with caution. Great par 5's, tough finishing holes. Home now to John Jacobs golf school, ruined a good par 4 ninth hole by shortening it. All in all very good course.
