Shoots in the 80s

There’s nothing fancy about this rural parkland course with a definite mom & pop feel, and that probably has everything to do with the inexpensive green fees. Just remember, you get what you pay for. The rolling hills offer changes in elevation that could make for an interesting course, but the result is actually rather clumsy. Many holes were placed on the land in an awkward manner, which may explain why the routing never seems to find a rhythm, and numerous manmade ponds lurk in odd places. Inferior shaping of the constructed features like greens, bunkers, and mounds adds to the low-budget feel. Early fall conditions were average; the greens had just been punched and a few fairways were scruffy. It’s not going to attract many serious players with the shortcomings in the design and no driving range, but this is probably a popular place for a cheap after-work beer round, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Shoots in the 80s

Love to play this course: rolling terrain, trees that add to beauty but don''t encroach too much, and some water to keep it interesting. Definitely an old ma and pop operation as the clubhouse gives away, but who cares. We don''t play golf to hang out in the pro-shop.

Customer Service

Super friendly staff despite permanent blue haze in pro-shop from smokers.
