Very, very flat course with easy greens and with almost no serious water hazardous! Inexpensive to play!

Tees, Greens, and fairways aren't exactly what I'd call Country Club material!!!!

Clair-Mar Golf course is a course that is good to practice on! The maintenence is ok, but could be a lot better! Good example for better maintenence is the green & tee areas! The greens aren't very big and have really no curve or hard angles on them at all (which is good for some golfers)! They are usaully ok, except for the usual divots that are left from careless and/or rude golfers! The tee boxes are somewhat poor! They are relatively small and only have one place where to tee up at, instead of having 2 or 3 different tees where you can play from! The fairways are ok, but are blended with the non-fairway area, so there is no difference in lie! Two things that could and would make it better is that (1), the flagsticks on the green should not just have one flag on it at all times, but 3 different colored flags, representing if the stick is in the front, middle, or back of the green and (2) is a putting green! To the right of the parking lot, between the the parking lot & 1st tee, there is PLENTY of room to build a putting green large enough to have at least like 3-4 holes on it! That would be a great thing to have to practice before you begin your round or when your waiting for your turn to tee-up!

Customer Service

There is only a small club house by the course! The people there are very nice and polite!
