Extremely beautiful course. It seems to be taken care of all year round. Definately a test of one's golfing ability. Extremely challenging and fair. Holes 9-12 are as tough as they come.

Great condition, very pretty and an appealing sense of history which is inevitable when playing a course over 100 years old!

Private!

One of the nicer small-town country club jewels you will probably never get to play (private). If you do get on you'll find a course in immaculate condition, steeped in history (original design in 1898), but with some modern upgrades - more bunkers, artificial lake etc. A pretty decent test of golf (ranked 14th best in Ohio, last time I looked), but worth the experience just for the beauty of the place. Number's 2,3 and 4 on the front, and 15 thru 18 on the back are particularly lovely, winding past streams and through forests that have been there, it seems, forever. A welcome change from many of the newer, target golf venues.
